Sky Bet League One side Bradford City have signed Huddersfield Town defender Jacob Hanson on a two and a half-year deal and also Sheffield Wednesday defender Matthew Penney on loan until the end of the season, a statement from Bradford City confirmed.

Highly rated 18-year-old full back Matthew Penney has joined Bradford City on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.

Penney is joined by fellow full back Jacob Hanson who has made the switch from Huddersfield Town to Bradford City on a permanent deal.

Penney could feature tonight against Oxford United whereas Hanson will have to wait until Saturday where he could make his first appearance for the Bantams against Gillingham.
