Bolton Wanderers have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Reece Wabara.
Reece Wabara joins the club on a free transfer and hands them a boost as they aim for promotion from Sky Bet League One this season.
The 25-year-old has been a free agent since he left Wigan at the end of the 2015/16 season.
The former Manchester City trainee has also had spells with Ipswich, Oldham, Blackpool and Doncaster in his career.
Predominantly a right back, Wabara is able to operate across the back four.
The former England youth international was on trial with former club Wigan earlier in the season but was not signed due to fitness concerns.
However, he will be keen to bolster Bolton’s promotion bid as he pens a contract until the end of the season.
Bolton currently sit third in the League One table, despite their awful start to 2017.
The Trotters can leapfrog Scunthorpe United and go back into an automatic promotion spot if they win their game in hand.
