Sky Bet League One side Bolton Wanderers have announced on their official website the arrivals of goalkeeper Ben Alnwick and Keshi Anderson.

Alnwick has joined the Trotters on a free transfer, after having his contract cancelled at Peterborough United due to handing in a transfer request for ‘personal reasons’.

The 29-year-old ‘keeper has plenty of Football League experience, with numerous loan spells during his time at Tottenham Hotspur between 2007 and 2012 preceding permanent spells at Barnsley, Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient, before he joined Peterborough United¬†in the summer of 2014.

Meanwhile, young forward Keshi Anderson joins Phil Parkinson’s side on a season-long loan deal from Crystal Palace.

The 21-year-old striker enjoyed a short period with League Two side Doncaster Rovers, making his professional debut for the Yorkshire-based club against Sheffield United last September.

Anderson only made seven appearances for the Keepmoat Stadium club after breaking his leg during a match last November, and as a result was sent back to Crystal Palace.
