Blackburn Rovers continued their impressive work in the summer transfer window by unveiling Bradley Dack as their third signing, the club's official website reports.

Attacking midfielder Bradley Dack joins Blackburn Rovers from fellow League One side Gillingham ahead of the upcoming 2017/18 campaign.

Blackburn were disappointingly relegated to the third tier of English football last season, going down on goal difference despite a late season revival under Tony Mowbray.

However, they have started preparations for the new season already.

Bradley Dack follows fellow midfield duo Richie Smallwood (Rotherham United) and Peter Whittingham (Cardiff City) through the door at Ewood Park.

Blackburn have forked out a £750,000 initial fee for the 23-year-old and the deal could involve add-ons.

Dack puts pen to paper on a three year deal with Rovers and there is an option for a fourth year too.

The diminutive attacking midfielder is comfortable playing in a central role behind the striker or out on the wing.

After graduating through the academy at Gillingham, Greenwich-born Dack played close to 200 games at the Kent based club, scoring 38 goals in the process.

He now makes the move to Blackburn, who are harbouring ambitions of an immediate return to the Championship.

Tony Mowbray has moved quickly to bring in Dack as his third summer signing and the summer reshuffle is set to continue at Ewood Park before the new season starts.
