Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Swansea City striker Marvin Emnes on a loan deal, according to the club’s official website.
Emnes has had limited opportunities for the South Wales side and has only scored three goals in two year since making the switch to the Swans from Middlesbrough.
The 28-year-old striker played for Swansea’s under-23 squad in their 3-0 Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Wimbledon last night.
Owen Coyle’s men sit firmly at the bottom of the Championship after a miserable start to the season and have netted just four goals in their opening five Championship games.
Emnes has been brought in to help support Danny Graham up front and help Rover’s lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
The Dutchman will link up with his team mates at Ewood Park and is likely to go straight into the side to play QPR at Loftus Road after the international break.
