Birmingham City have completed the signing of the young Stevenage striker Jack Storer for an undisclosed fee, according to the club’s official website.
The 18-year-old has signed a short-term six month deal at St Andrews that will begin when the Transfer Window opens at the start of next month.
Storer has only made one appearance for Stevenage this season, but has been on trial with the Blues for the past few weeks – impressing for their under 21’s to secure a contract with the Championship side.
The striker has been on the Blues books for the past few years after previously presenting the club at under 15 level.
For the moment, the 18-year old will bide his time training and playing behind closed doors for the development squad.
The youngster will be looking to impress for Birmingham City boss, Gary Rowett to break into the first-team set up for pre-season training in the summer.
Gary Rowett’s side face Leeds United at St Andrews this evening, in a game they must win if they are to keep their play-off dream alive.
