Done Deal: Birmingham City secure deal for striker on three-year deal

Published

on

Birmingham City have finally completed the signing of Che Adams from Sheffield United, for a fee believed to be around £1.7million.

The attacker, who has long been linked with a move to the Midlands has finally completed his transfer, and is likely to go straight into the Blues squad for Tuesday’s cup tie against Oxford United.

Birmingham have been hunting for a striker all summer, and much to the annoyance of some Blues fans, manager Gary Rowett has found it tough to bring in an established name to lead the line.

But in Che Adams, Birmingham have a young man with bags of pace and potential, who can compete with the likes of Clayton Donaldson and Nicolai Brock-Madsen going forward.

The move will likely through the future of James Vaughan into doubt, with the former Huddersfield man yet to register a first-team goal for the Blues in over sixteen appearances.

Birmingham fans….. You must be happy with this? Let us know your thoughts below!
