Aston Villa defender Easah Suliman has moved to League Two outfit Cheltenham Town on a six month loan deal, the club have confirmed.
The 18 year-old has regularly featured for the Villains U21 side as well as representing England at U17 and U18 level despite having Pakistani decent.
Suliman is yet to make his debut for Aston Villa but is highly thought of at the club, having risen up through the youth ranks before signing a professional contract when he was just 16 years of age.
The versatile centre back, who can also play at full back on either side, will go straight into Gary Johnson’s squad for their league opener against Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Suliman becomes the Robins fourth signing of the summer alongside James Jennings, Daniel O’Shaughnessy and Danny Whitehead.
