Doncaster Rovers have announced the signing of Cedric Evina today after a successful trial spell with the club.
Evina is the second signing of the summer for Doncaster Rovers, following the addition of Nathan Tyson earlier in the week. The club have been in limbo following a failed takeover bid from former Chairman John Ryan and One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.
The Cameroonian left-back had been close to signing for Doncaster’s League One rivals Crawley Town before the recently relegated side offered the former Arsenal youngster a trial with the club.
The 22 year-old has penned a one-year deal with Doncaster with the option to extend the deal for a further year.
Evina was released by Charlton this summer following three season with the London club. The former Oldham loanee struggled for first-team football at the Valley, making 23 appearances during his time with the Addicks.
