Doncaster Rovers have handed a trial to former Liverpool and MK Dons full-back Jon Otsemobor, according to The Star.
The 31-year old full-back has been a free agent following his January release from fellow League One side MK Dons and has been handed a trial with Doncaster for the pre-season period.
The former Liverpool youth defender has vast Football League experience having previously played for Norwich, Southampton and Nottingham Forest among others and is a player who would add experience to many squads.
His arrival comes amid rumours that current full-back Paul Quinn could leave the club following his sides relegation activating a clause in his contract allowing him to leave in a cut-price deal.
Otsemobor is expected to feature in Doncaster’s pre-season fixture against Bradford Park Avenue next Wednesday and a decision will be made on whether to take him on the club’s pre-season tour of Portugal shortly afterwards.
