A duo of League One clubs are tracking Bolton Wanderers striker Jamie Proctor ahead of a potential move this summer, according to The Bolton News.

Bolton Wanderers are ready to listen to offers for Jamie Proctor but will demand a fee for the striker as he enters the final year of his contract.

Rotherham United and Doncaster Rovers are both interested in Proctor as they prepare for their season in League One.

Rotherham were recently relegated from the Championship with a disastrously low points tally but manager Paul Warne is keen to bring in a new striker to bolster their attacking options this summer.

As well as Proctor, the Millers have been looking at Sheffield United forward Matt Done as they prepare for the inevitable exit of last season's top scorer Danny Ward.

Doncaster are also aiming to add another striker to their ranks to compete with John Marquis up front.

During his career, Proctor has been considered as a bit of a journeyman.

The 6ft 2in target man played for Preston, Crawley and Fleetwood before joining Phil Parkinson at Bradford.

The 25-year-old followed Parkinson from Bradford to Bolton last summer on a free, penning a two year deal with the Trotters but has largely been used as a substitute.

In January, Proctor joined League Two Carlisle United, where he impressed and has earned League One admirers.
