Things had all started so well for Marcelo Bielsa's side after Wigan centre back Cedric Kipre was sent off inside 15 minutes before Patrick Bamford put the home side ahead with his eighth Championship goals of the season after Pablo Hernandez missed from the penalty spot.

Wigan rallied however and a goal in either half from Gavin Massey gave Paul Cook's side a first away league win since August to ease their own relegation worries despite plenty of late pressure from the hosts.

For Leeds however their hopes of automatic promotion are once again out of their hands as they sit outside of the automatic promotion places on goal difference.

Responding to the result on Twitter, a number of Leeds fans appeared to believe that their hopes of automatic promotion are over.

Here are some of the best of the reactions.
