After a couple of years in the wilderness, it seems as though Saido Berahino is on the way back, one way or another.

After two barren seasons of under-achieving at Stoke, he's finally found his scoring boots, hitting three so far in all competitions, including his first league goal for over 900 days at the weekend.

Last night he was back amongst the scorers, once again sparking a Stoke City revival that turned a 3-0 deficit against Nottingham Forest into a narrow 3-2 defeat. Once again, he could have snatched a last-gasp equaliser, only to miss the chance.

His manager had a little moan after the game, but his overall performance has brought Stoke City fans to social media to praise his goal and his arrival back in the first team picture.

This selection of Stoke City fans are certainly on the striker's side, lamenting Gary Rowett's decision to complain about the miss and calling for him to play at the weekend against Rotherham United.

Here are a selection of the best tweets about the former West Brom striker doing the rounds this morning.
