Brentford winger Ollie Watkins is a player believed to be in serious demand, with just four days to go until the start of the 2019/20 EFL campaign.
Reports from the Daily Mail claim that Crystal Palace are interested in signing the 23-year-old, and it is also claimed that the Eagles will offer cash plus Alexander Sorloth as part of the deal.
Norwegian forward Sorloth has scored just one goal in 20 appearances for Palace since his arrival at Selhurst Park, but having been a prolific goalscorer for FC Midtjylland before his move, this might be appealing to Brentford who have links with the Danish club due to their owner Matthew Benham.
It's clear to see why Watkins is so in demand this summer - the attacker scored 12 goals and produced nine assists for the Bees last season, in an attack that oozed quality and flair.
It would be a big blow for Brentford to lose one of their most important players just days before their opening day clash with Birmingham City, but it remains to be seen whether Palace's player-plus-cash offer is genuine.
For the time being, we take a look at what Brentford fans are saying after this interesting transfer rumour...
