‘Doesn’t mean anything’, ‘Do that for us’ – These Derby County fans react to player display on international duty

Derby County winger Kamil Jozwiak got his first goal of the season as Poland beat Andorra 4-1 last night.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a poor campaign for the Rams, having failed to score or register an assist in 11 games for Wayne Rooney’s side.

As a result, some fans have been frustrated with Jozwiak, but that hasn’t prevented him from being called upon by the Polish national team as they look to secure a place in Qatar for the World Cup next year.

And, they took a step towards that last night, as they guaranteed a play-off place thanks to the win, with Jozwiak contributing.

For the Derby support, it was a talking point with many asking the question why the wide man hasn’t been able to perform like that for his club, although others point out it could be the opposition and his teammates with Poland.
