Leeds United had some memorable nights in the Champions League under David O'Leary, with one of their best wins coming against Deportivo La Coruna.

The Spanish champions arrived at Elland Road expecting to advance to the semi-final of Europe's elite competition but they were blown away by the Whites who secure a 3-0 lead in the first leg and ended up winning 3-2 on aggregate.

That win came 19 years ago today, with the club tweeting highlights of that magnificent win. And, it prompted a response from former player Ian Harte, who clearly has fond memories of the game.

The Irishman was the outstanding performer in the first leg, as he scored a trademark left-footed free-kick to open the scoring, set up Alan Smith's second and Rio Ferdinand scored the third from his corner.

Given the occasion, it's a match that will always be remembered by Leeds fans and they loved Harte's comments.
