Salim Lamrani, former Leeds United translator for Marcelo Bielsa, has written a touching tribute to Adam Forshaw and his sentiment has been shared by Leeds fans.

Forshaw has started the season well after enjoying a successful pre-season this summer - something he lacked last year - but for Lamrani it is little surprise.

The former translator spoke of his admiration for the midfielder; his mindset and drive in overcoming his serious injury last summer, to what he brings to the dressing room and his strength of character.

He also highlights his appreciation of others, and his willingness to take time out of his day to greet others, and believes his personality and virtues enhances any group he's part of.

The 27-year-old is therefore not just an asset to the club on the pitch, and although his recent performances have gained praise from Leeds fans, now his character is being appreciated too, and he is a player all Leeds fans can get behind.

Here are some of the responses to Lamrani's endorsement of Forshaw on Twitter.
