Plenty of Swansea City fans and former striker Oli McBurnie have reacted after the club confirmed that defender Cian Harries has joined Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old centre-back made six appearances for Swansea in all competitions last season, including two Championship starts.

Harries joined Swansea from Coventry City in July 2017, but had to wait until August 2018 to make first-team debut for the Swans.

The defender made his debut for Swansea under Graham Potter last season, starting the 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup at the Liberty Stadium.
