It’s been a positive start to the summer for Nottingham Forest, with Aitor Karanka shaping a squad looking capable of winning promotion back to the Premier League.

After last season’s disappointing mid-table finish, Karanka has got to work quickly this summer, reshaping his squad with a number of impressive signings.

The latest of those came yesterday afternoon, with Forest agreeing an undisclosed fee with AFC Bournemouth to bring Lewis Grabban in on a permanent contract.

The 30-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at the City Ground, arriving in the Midlands on the back of a superb individual 2017/18 campaign.

Grabban scored 20 goals in the Championship last season, impressing on-loan for both Sunderland and Aston Villa.

As expected, the bulk of Forest’s supporters are delighted with the arrival of Grabban…

This is another big signing for Forest.

If Grabban can replicate last season’s form, he will be a huge success at the City Ground.
