Leeds United got off to a decent start in their play-off campaign on Saturday evening, beating Derby County 1-0 at Pride Park.

In a tense affair, it was Kemar Roofe who opened the scoring just before the hour mark, cooly tucking a shot past Kelle Roos after Jack Harrison had whipped in a glorious cross.

And the Whites survived plenty of Derby pressure, a convincing penalty appeal and a potential Mateusz Klich red card to take the advantage into this Wednesday's second leg at Elland Road.

The fans were rightly confident of making the final following the victory, however, Marcelo Bielsa revealed on Monday afternoon that his first-choice striker would miss the second-leg.
