West Ham United youngster Marcus Browne is reportedly attracting interest from a host of Championship clubs.

Leeds United, Sheffield United and Derby County are just a few names linked with the 21-year old, who has scored seven goals and produced four assists on loan at Oxford United this season.

The latter have signed many promising youngsters this season - the likes of Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori and Harry Wilson have all excelled at Pride Park this term.

Here, we discuss whether Browne would be a good signing for Derby...

George Harbey

There is no doubting Browne's ability, but do they really need him?

It's hard to drop one of Mount, Wilson or Tom Lawrence, and Browne will be looking to get some regular game-time after an impressive start to the season.

He should steer clear of a move to Derby, in my opinion.

Alfie Burns

It’s not a position that Derby need to strengthen next month.

Browne’s a good player, but his talents would be wasted at Pride Park.

Lampard needs to get his business spot on next month and this would be a waste of time.

Chris Gallagher

He'd be a decent signing.

Browne would give Lampard another attacking option and his ability should suit this attack-minded Rams side.

They need more depth for the run-in and this would be a smart move.

Jacob Potter

Lampard could get the best out of him.

Browne would be played in a similar role as to where he played for West Ham as a player in the early stages of his playing career.

Lampard is getting the best out young talent this season and Browne could thrive under his guidance.
