Arsenal have emerged as one of the Premier League clubs registering their interest in signing Reading forward, Danny Loader according to Goal.

The 18-year-old has been impressive in his breakthrough season with the Championship club, which seemingly hasn't gone unnoticed.

With Loader having just one year left on his current deal with Reading, and it seems unlikely that the youngster will remain at the Madejski Stadium with increased interest in his services recently.

He's made 22 appearances for the Royals this season, and has scored once, with a stunning strike from distance against Middlesbrough late into this year's campaign.

Loader has also represented England at youth level, and will be keen to have his long-term future resolved at the earliest of opportunities.

The Royals could struggle to turn down a bid for one of their prize assets, with the Berkshire-based club struggling financially.

But would Loader be a good signing for the Gunners?

We discuss....

Louie Chandler:

"Do they need another striker?

"With Lacazette and Aubameyang understandably dominating first-team proceedings, there seems very little point in signing Loader.

"Even in terms of back-up, Unai Emery has Eddie Nketiah who seems to keep getting better so bring the Reading man would be a strange decision."

Jacob Potter:

"This could be the perfect destination for him.

"Arsenal have given young players a chance in the past, which could give them the edge over the likes of Chelsea in the race to sign him this summer.

"Loader has the potential to be playing in the Premier League in the future, and Arsenal would be making a great signing if they can pull it off."

Ben Lang:

"This would be a great signing for the future, particularly if they can secure his services on a cheap deal.

"Loader has shown great promise at Reading this season and he still has plenty of time to develop at just 18 years of age.

"It would be a good idea for Arsenal to sign Loader and then loan him back to Reading. They can also include Emiliano Martinez in the deal to help push it through."
