Nottingham Forest denied Bristol City their first Championship win at Ashton Gate since January by scoring twice in stoppage time.

Alex Scott squandered a glorious opportunity to open the scoring for the hosts, before finding the back of the net in the 40th minute, when he followed up on Nahki Wells’ low strike.

Lyle Taylor, who came on with just 10 minutes to go, calmly slotted past Dan Bentley in the Robins goal from the penalty spot to restore parity in the 91st minute.

The former Charlton Athletic forward then netted a minute later to win all three points at Ashton Gate, creating extraordinary scenes in the away end and in the away dugout.

The performance of Brice Samba has been praised on social media, with the shot-stopper keeping Forest in the game at times, with the first half being a particularly busy time for him.

Samba, who has conceded 14 times this season, keeping two clean sheets in the process, has been excellent for The Reds since his 2019 move to The City Ground.

The goalkeeper’s shot-stopping abilities, leadership and ability when in possession, has seen him emerge as the club’s number one in recent years.

Here, we take a look at how some Forest fans have reacted on Twitter to Samba’s performance against The Robins…
