Leeds United have revealed that the first-team will be playing in two post-season friendlies in Myanmar, just days after the Championship season finishes.

The club announced the news on their website, with fixtures against a National League All-Star team and the national team set to be played on May 9 and May 11.

They play their final Championship game of the season at Elland Road against QPR on May 6.

Managing Director Angus Kinnear spoke about how this arrangement presents Leeds with an opportunity to 'meet new fans of football who will hopefully support our journey back to the Premier League in the coming years', however many supporters of the Yorkshire club are unhappy with the decision.

The political situation in Myanmar is extremely sensitive, with the Foreign Office recommending people to avoid all but essential travel to certain parts of Burma, whilst their are also certain health risks.
