The Championship has seen a fair share of players that have been hugely impressive in the EFL, before moving on to bigger and better things.

Quest TV have recently revealed the team which some supporters voted for as their 'Team of the Decade', which included the likes of Billy Sharp, Matt Ritchie and the late Peter Whittingham.

But one player that surprisingly missed out on a place in the team was Adel Taarabt, who was hugely impressive in his time with QPR whilst they were playing their football in the EFL.

The midfielder made 164 appearances in total for the Hoops before moving to Portuguese giants Benfica in 2015.

Taarabt played his part for QPR, as they won promotion into the Premier League in the 2010/11 season as well.

Plenty of QPR supporters were quick to notice his exclusion from the 'Team of the Decade' on social media, and voiced their thoughts on the matter.
