Following the announcement of the Players’ Football Association’s Championship Team of the Year, Leeds United supporters showed their dissatisfaction with the absence of defender Pontus Jansson.

The 26 year-old arrived on loan at Elland Road last summer from Italian outfit Torino, but turned his stay at Leeds to a permanent basis in January having put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal at the club.
Despite Garry Monk’s men currently being outside the top-six, Jansson has been an influential member of the backline and has swiftly become a firm fan favourite in Yorkshire.
The centre-back has made 32 appearances for the Whites this campaign, keeping twelve clean sheets to help push Leeds United up the table into the play-offs – where they’ve stayed for the majority of the season.
However, he was not included in the PFA Championship Team of the Year; instead Brighton & Hove Albion’s Lewis Dunk was placed alongside Newcastle skipper Jamaal Lascelles.
So here is how Leeds supporters reacted to the lack of Pontus Jansson in the team….
Lascelles over Jansson is actually funny what a joke ahahahha

Spot on. Lascelles has had a good season but doesn't deserve to be in ahead of Clark, never mind Jansson who's been fantastic. https://t.co/YBjnmzfzL9
