QPR’s poor run of form continued in the Championship on Wednesday evening, as they fell to a frustrating 2-0 defeat against Preston North End.
Alex Neill’s side took the lead on the night from the penalty spot, as Daniel Johnson opened the scoring with his first league goal of this year’s campaign.
That lead was then doubled on the hour mark, when Scott Sinclair fired home Preston’s second penalty of the match to give the visitors some much-needed breathing space.

Mark Warburton’s side were unable to find the goal they were chasing to get back into the game, despite the introductions of the likes fo Albert Adomah and Chris Willock.
The defeat means that the Hoops are now winless in their last five matches, which has seen them drop to 16th in the second-tier standings.
Plenty of QPR supporters took to social media to voice their frustrations at this latest defeat.

That wasn't even a contest. 2 poor sides, 1 had 2 penalties. We had nothing in midfield and nothing up front and a lb who is clearly out of his depth. Worst performance I've seen in a while and one stat I've seen tonight about wins in 26 games is concerning too. #noexcuses

Another season trying to avoid relegation. Warburton will come out and say the same things that he always says. Midfield is going to be a real problem this season. Can’t play Cameron and Carroll together. Both clueless.

Shocking performance no creativity. Clearly missing Dykes. Why is Wallace a professional football player? Shocking.
