Derby County forward Mason Bennett has issued an apology after a video emerged of him shouting obscenities as he drove past Pride Park, which has left many Rams fans fuming.

It has been an eventful season for Bennett, who was involved in the drink driving incident that saw ex-captain Richard Keogh have his contract terminated in November.

Since then, the 23-year-old has fallen out of favour at the East Midlands club and was sent out on loan to Millwall in January.

Bennett has found himself in hot water once again after a video him shouting "f****** burn" at Pride Park emerged on Twitter.

The forward, who is a product of the Rams academy, took to Twitter yesterday to issue an apology.

Millwall are thought to have an option to buy Bennett in the summer and following this latest incident, you feel it's unlikely that he will be a Derby player for much longer – whether he makes the switch to the Den or not.

He certainly doesn't appear to be a popular figure among fans of the East Midlands club, many of whom took to Twitter to vent their frustration at the 23-year-old.
