Alan Pardew's West Bromwich Albion tenure was short and not particularly sweet, and many Baggies fans have been reflecting on the English coach's time at the club.

Pardew took charge of the Hawthorns outfit after Tony Pulis was sacked in November 2017, with West Brom sitting just one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League.

The 58-year-old secured his first point as Baggies boss from a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace in his first game in charge but he would have to wait until January for his first victory – a 2-0 win against Exeter City in the FA Cup.

West Brom won just three times in 21 matches under Pardew, with just one of those coming in the Premier League.

After a nine-game losing run and with the Baggies 10 points adrift of safety, the English coach was sacked in April 2018 – just four months after taking charge.

The reigns were handed to Darren Moore, who was unable to keep the Midlands club up but kept his job for their return to the Championship.

With Slaven Bilic now at the helm, West Brom are frontrunners for promotion and can look back feeling thankful that Pardew is no longer involved with the club.

The 58-year-old does not appear to be a popular figure amongst Baggies fans, many of whom took to Twitter to voice their thoughts.
