Nottingham Forest fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat on Tuesday evening at the City Ground against Luton Town.

Despite having the better of the chances, and the majority of the possession, Chris Hughton's side failed to make that dominance count, as Ryan Tunnicliffe scored the only goal of the match after 64 minutes.

Forest introduced Lyle Taylor with just over 20 minutes remaining in the game, but the former Charlton Athletic man failed to get on the scoresheet as the Reds were left frustrated.

Taylor has scored five goals in 34 appearances for Nottingham Forest this season, but the 30-year-old hasn't scored since their match against Wycombe Wanderers back in November 2020.

That doesn't make for the best of reading, especially with Lewis Grabban now likely to start the remainder of their matches in attack this term.

Plenty of the City Ground faithful took to social media to voice their frustrations at Taylor's lack of contribution off the substitutes bench in the defeat to Luton Town.
