Romain Saiss missed Wolverhampton Wanderers' 1-0 win over Ipswich Town last weekend and looks set to miss the table-toppers' match with fellow promotion chasers Sheffield United tomorrow evening.

Reliable journalist Tim Spiers has revealed that the influential midfielder, who has enjoyed such an impressive debut season in English football so far, will miss the clash with the Blades with a hamstring problem.

Although hamstring injuries can be dangerous and can keep players out for a long time but Spiers seems to feel that Saiss is just not 100 per cent.

Wolves are 11 points ahead of fellow Midlands side Derby County who sit second, and such a comfortable lead means they can somewhat afford to be without Saiss for as long as it takes him to recover.

The Verdict

Saiss is a big miss but he needs to recover fully because if a hamstring goes, it can really go and keep a player out for a long period of time.

Wolves have the luxury of not needing to rush players back from injury right now.
