Many Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to Cole Skuse's comments regarding the club's latest defeat in League One to Coventry City.

The midfielder admitted that the Tractor Boys' performance against the Sky Blues shows that the players haven't given up despite a woeful run of form under the guidance of manager Paul Lambert.

Although Ipswich edged possession during this fixture, they were unable to prevent Coventry from taking the lead at Portman Road as Matt Godden fired home his 15th goal of the season in the first-half.

Jon Nolan squandered a great opportunity to level up proceedings in the 29th minute as he headed straight at goalkeeper Marko Marosi when well-placed.

Whilst the Tractor Boys pushed forward for an equaliser in the second-half, Coventry held on to seal all three points on their travels.

Speaking to TWTD about his side's latest display, Skuse said: "The fans came out in their thousands and at the end of the first half and at the end of the game they could see that the lads have not thrown the towel in by any stretch.

"I thought it was a positive performance against a good, well-organised side who are sitting top of the league for a reason."
