Derby have confirmed that Tom Huddlestone has signed a new deal with the club that will see him extend his stay until the end of the 2019/2020 season.

The midfielder has made 26 appearances for Frank Lampard's side in this year's campaign and has played his part in their push for a top six finish.

This is his second spell for the club, having previously being drafted through the club's academy system earlier in his career.

Huddlestone rejoined the club back in 2017 from Hull City and hasn't looked back since and is a crucial player for Lampard going forward.

He'll be hoping that he can continue to impress for Derby this season, and the Rams boss will be counting on Huddlestone's experience both on and off the pitch in a relatively young side.
