Nottingham Forest are facing a dilemma within their squad after ousted defender Michael Mancienne saw a move to Turkey collapse this weekend.

Reds manager Aitor Karanka is willing to let the former Chelsea defender leave, but after holding talks with Turkish second division club Caykur Rizespor, it appears a move is now off and Mancienne is returning to England to ponder his next move.

Reported by the Nottingham Post, the move will see Mancienne come back to training with the Forest squad and mull over his next move.

However, Mancienne will train on his own no doubt, after being left out of the Forest squad which is currently on tour of Spain getting their pre season work in.

Mancienne signed for the Reds following a spell with Hamburg and has been a regular for the club since making the move. However, he lost his place in the squad towards the end of last season, and the Englishman will now be on the move once again, with a number of clubs expected to be interested in his services.

Forest are making big waves this summer after completing a host of big money signings already, and they are currently one of the favourites for promotion to the Premier League this term.

Reds fans, what do you make of this? Where will Mancienne go now? Let us know your thoughts!
