It is time for reflection at Leeds United after their dreams of promotion came to an end at the hands of Derby County on Wednesday evening.

Leeds lost out 4-3 on aggregate to Derby in the play-off semi-finals, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side failing to reach Wembley despite finishing in a superior position to the Rams after the 46-game regular season.

The latest player to reflect on the end of the season has been Patrick Bamford, with the striker

Bamford, 25, has struck nine league goals in his first season at Leeds, with injuries plaguing his involvement for much of the campaign.

For that reason, many are still backing Bamford despite the setback of missing out on the Premier League, with the forward already looking ahead to going one better next season.
