West Bromwich Albion supporters have been heaping praise on defender Kyle Bartley, following the 28-year-old's performance in the Baggies 2-2 draw against Charlton Athletic at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Slaven Bilic's side will be frustrated that they could not take all three points from the game against Charlton, with a 94th minute equaliser from Josh Cullen from the penalty spot denying the Baggies a crucial three points that would have opened up the gap on the chasing pack.

However, West Brom had to show some real battling qualities to take even a point from the game following Nathan Ferguson being sent off with 23 minutes remaining, and the performance of Bartley at the heart of defence in particular was crucial in helping the Baggies keep their visitors at bay at times.

Bartley has been one of West Brom's most consistent performers so far this season, starting alongside summer signing Semi Ajayi, and the 28-year-old has been excellent in terms of his willingness to put his body on the line to deny opponents at times throughout the opening months of the campaign.

West Brom brought in Bartley last summer from Swansea City, but the defender at times struggled last campaign, with Darren Moore often using him in a back three, a system which he struggled to perform to his best within as the Baggies' defence as hole failed to keep regular clean sheets last campaign.

This season though, Bilic is using Bartley in a back four in the absence of the injured Ahmed Hegazi, who is now struggling to get back into the side on his return due to Bartley's form - and the 28-year-old is looking far more comfortable and beginning to show his real defensive quality.

Here, then we take a look at how West Brom fans feel Bartley is performing so far this season following the Charlton game...
