A number of Derby County supporters have reacted to the performance of Kamil Jozwiak for Poland in their 1-1 draw against England in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Wednesday night.
Jozwiak was handed the chance to start for Poland against England in a wing-back role, and he was tasked with helping to keep both Luke Shaw and Jack Grealish quiet down his side of the field.
The 23-year-old was able to deliver a strong performance for Poland for the 80 minutes that he was on the field for from a defensive point of view. That saw him manage to win four duels, two tackles and make one interception.
It was a performance that demonstrated that Jozwiak can be deployed effectively as a wing-back.
That might be able to give Wayne Rooney a decision to make if he ever considers altering his formation over the course of the rest of the campaign.
Derby have not really seen the best of Jozwiak since his arrival at the club, but performances like this one for Poland are what he needs to show more of for the Rams in the Championship.

Jozwiak needs to leave Derby. Just feel like he’s not in it when he plays for us. Totally different player for Poland #dcfc

Looks far more confident playing for Poland, than he does for Derby… Would be interesting to see him click with Lawrence & Morrison

I've been his biggest critic, but this season he has spooked lively, and think he's been unfortunate in some matches to not be picked out after making good runs. Just get his end product right and we may just be able to get something out of him.

Defensive potential. He’s in a comfort zone playing defensively
