Kalvin Phillips is shining at Leeds United this season, with the midfielder central to the club’s success in the Sky Bet Championship.  

Leeds are flying under Marcelo Bielsa and are now just four games away from promotion back to the Premier League.

And, the form of Phillips over the season has been key, with the midfielder shielding the defence superbly and really progressing under the management of Bielsa.

Over the weekend, @LUFCDATA pulled together an unbelievable stat on the 23-year-old, revealing that he has won 372 defensive duels over the course of the 2018/19 campaign, which is more than any other player in the Championship.

That is an amazing achievement for Phillips when you consider he isn’t even a defender, with it only adding to his popularity amongst Leeds’ supporters.
