Leeds United secured a vital three points at Wigan today with Pablo Hernandez making a significant contribution for the Whites once again.

The classy Spaniard has been a highly influential player this season under Marcelo Bielsa, with the technical, attacking style bringing out the best in the former Swansea man.

And, he continued his fine form against the Latics, scoring in the ninth minute to bring Leeds level after they had fallen behind to a Reece James free-kick.

Hernandez also had a hand in the winner, although it was a major blunder from Christian Walton who failed to pick up his low cross that allowed Kemar Roofe a tap-in.

However, the 33-year-old's overall game was also hugely impressive.

He regularly picked up clever positions and his ability on the ball allowed the visitors to control the game all afternoon.

Therefore, it wasn't surprising to see many fans take to twitter to praise Hernandez for his display...
