Adam Pope, a sports broadcaster for the BBC, has tweeted a picture of Leeds United new boy Jay-Roy Grot modelling the club’s kit.

The 19-year-old signed for the Yorkshire club last month, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal at Elland Road.

Grot made his debut for Leeds away from home in United’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest, coming on as a substitute in the 70th minute.

The big and powerful Dutchman was used out on the wing against Forest and put in a good performance that had United’s fans excited about what the youngster could bring to a full 90-minute match.

So, what to the Elland Road faithful make of Grot modelling the home kit?

FLW writer Adam Goacher has taken to Twitter to see exactly how the Peacocks’ fans have reacted to seeing their new star showing off the white of Leeds United...
