It was a good day for Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, as they handed Luton Town and former manager Nathan Jones' a second defeat of the season, winning 2-0 at Kenilworth Road.

Goals from Steven Fletcher - his first for the club following a summer move to the Potters - and Nick Powell in the first ten minutes of the second were enough to secure all three points for Stoke, and lift them to eighth in the current Championship standings.

But while it was goals from Fletcher and Powell that secured the three points for the Potters, the performance of goalkeeper Adam Davies at the other end of the pitch, was just as important.

According to WhoScored, Davies made no fewer than seven saves in the match, and also claimed two crosses, making this a dominant performance between the posts to help keep out Luton's attack, and earn the win for his team.

Indeed, the value of Davies' performance was not lost on many Stoke fans as they took to Twitter to react to this win, with many singing the praises of the goalkeeper.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say about the 28-year-old's showing against the Hatters.
