Preston North End slumped to a successive defeat on Wednesday night as they were thrashed 4-0 by Hull City at the KCOM Stadium.

The Lilywhites followed up Saturday's defeat to Derby County with arguably their worst performance of the season which saw them slip to fifth in the Championship table and six points outside the top-two.

Preston have been enjoying a remarkable start to the season and were in the top-two before the international break but since coming back the Lilywhites have struggled to re-discover that form.

Goals from Kamil Grosicki, Josh Magennis and a brace from Jarrod Bowen gave the Tigers all three-points on Wednesday, leaving Alex Neil with some work to do before Preston host West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening.

The Preston faithful were unsurprisingly disappointed with their team's showing on Wednesday evening, with some fans branding the performance "gutless" and "lacking passion."

Fans were quick to voice their opinions in response to Preston's full-time tweet with it being bombarded with responses, some venting their frustration whilst others tried to take some perspective.

Here we take a look at some of the replies from frustrated North End fans from Wednesday night...
