It appears that Leeds United are set to step up their pursuit of Daniel James with a multi-million pound bid going down for the attacking talent.  

Leeds are in pursuit of a winger as we enter the final days of the transfer window, with James a name strongly linked with the Elland Road club.

According to The Sun, Leeds have made a £10m swoop to sign the 21-year-old.

That deal breaks down to £6m up front, with a further £4m in add-ons depending on promotion and other achievements later in James’ career.

So far this season the winger has scored only one goal and registered three assists, drifting in and out of the Swansea starting XI.

It’s safe to say that the deal, at an eye-watering fee, has received plenty of reaction, with supporters divided.
