QPR are a team that have had plenty of ups and downs this season, but Mark Warburton's side seem to be on the right track now as they're sat 13th in the Championship table and just six points adrift of the play-off positions.

One player who hasn't had a decision made for him on his future with the club is Angel Rangel, with the experienced full-back being out-of-contract at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Speaking in an interview with West London Sport, Rangel admitted that he would like to extend his stay with the club beyond this year's campaign, although talks are yet to be held by himself and QPR.

"I definitely would like to stay for another season at QPR, I’ve made that very clear recently.

"However, we haven’t had any sort of discussions about it."

Plenty of QPR fans took to the 'Planet QPR' and 'The Optimistic QPR Supporters page' Facebook groups to issue their thoughts on whether Rangel should be offered a new deal or not this season.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from Facebook below....

Nic Oughton: "Simple answer - yes. Better than Kane plus excellent role model to have around the club."

Lee Carters: "Perhaps more as a pay as you play considering his age."

Steve Mallett: "Oh yes indeed!"

Peter Hamm: "Yes, very professional who adds to the team."

Paul Walsh: "Too old, next season will be one too many."

Ed Radford: "I think he deserves another year even more so if we are going to have two three or more young players coming through to help keep them grounded. Total professional."

Taylor Mosdall: "Agree he had a good year. Give him another year."

Michael Whelan: "Regrettably no. If he was two years younger then it’d be a no brainer."

Michael Kevins: "Yes from me."

Toni Hunt: "Yes. A great motivator for the young ones."
