Derby turn down 3 loan bids for 26-year-old from Championship duo and French club

According to French media outlet Foot Mercato via The Derby Telegraph, Derby County have rejected loan offers from a trio of clubs for winger Abdoul Camara.

It is believed that French Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais and Championship duo Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers had lodged loan bids for Camara but they have all been turned down by Derby.

Derby County appear to prefer a permanent exit for Abdoul Camara and have slapped a €2.5m (£2.13m) price tag on the wide man.

The 26-year-old joined Derby from French club Angers last January but has failed to make much of an impact since his arrival in the East Midlands.

Predominantly used as an impact substitute, Camara has only managed 18 appearances in his 12 months at Derby and only managed to win his first start earlier this month.

The Guinea international could be set for a late January exit, although it seems that Derby do not want that to be on loan.

Derby fans – are you pleased with this news? Would you rather sell Camara than loan him out? Does he have a future at Pride Park? Let us know in the comments below…
