It has been reported by SwansFC that Derby are planning to make a move for Manchester City midfielder Scott Sinclair who is looking for a permanent move from the Etihad Stadium.
Sinclair made a name for himself whilst playing for Swansea City. He scored 28 goals in 82 appearances whilst at the South Wales club which earned him a £6m to Premier League giants Manchester City in 2012. However he has hardly featured for The Citizens and spent last season on loan at West Brom.
Remarkably, despite being just 25 years-old, the winger has played for 11 different clubs with seven of those being loan spells. Derby County and manager Steve McClaren could be the perfect club that enables Sinclair to get first team football and finally settle down.
Swans fans were sad to see Sinclair leave the club. They feel that his girlfriend Helen Flanagan influenced his move away as she is based in Manchester due to her being on TV soap Coronation Street. His time with The Swans is arguably the most successful he has been at a club and unfortunately Sinclair hasn’t repeated that form since.
