Derby County have parted company with Chief Scout with Derek Bragg, reports the Derby Telegraph.

The club statement read ''Both parties mutually agreed a part company as Chris Evans restructures his football operations group having had the opportunity to assess after the first six months in place.''

Evans said ''Derek is very experienced and very well organised. He ticked a lot of boxes.''

Evans scouted for a number of clubs including, Cheltenham Town, Stoke City and Sunderland.

Derby have now three scouts of their books including manager Steve McClaren's son, Joe McClaren, former player Mo Camara and Jamie Johnson.
