The Championship is back this weekend and the biggest game of all the matches has to be Derby County against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

The two sides do not like one another one bit and and there is bound to be a few crunching tackles once the first whistle goes at Pride Park.

For sure, there's also bound to be a good atmosphere at the home of the Rams and players are going to have to be ice-cool in a red-hot situation if they want to get the three points.

As per transfermarkt, though, it should be the home side that is more confident of getting the three points this weekend.

Indeed, the stats from the site make for pleasant reading if you're a Rams fan with them having the upper hand in the all-time Championship record thanks to their nine wins compared to Forest's six from 20 games overall.

The home record for the Rams in the second tier is also strong against their arch-rivals.

In ten games, Derby have won six and drawn another two, leaving Forest to have just two wins to their name from their visits to their East Midlands neighbours.

Forest have struggled to score goals away from home, too, with them managing just five goals from all the games - compared to Derby's 17.

This all bodes well for Gary Rowett's men, then, and the fans will be hoping that this weekend's game follows the main trends for this fixture.
