Wayne Rooney has said that he’s not worrying himself with the results of Derby County’s relegation rivals.
The Rams find themselves in 19th position in the Championship table as the campaign moves into the home straight of the frantic fixture schedule.
Derby have it all to do if they’re to avoid a surprise relegation to League One but they face stern competition with the likes of Huddersfield Town, Coventry City and Birmingham City – along with the bottom three – all scrapping to keep their heads above water.
But while it could be a nervy end to the season for Rooney’s side the Manchester United legend is insisting that they’re only focused on their own performances and results.
WR on teams around them: "I'm not looking at their results. We focus on we need to do. Maybe when we've got two or three games left you can start looking and analysing the table."

Asked if he’ll be watching out for the results of Coventry City and Birmingham City, Rooney said: “I’m not looking at their results.
“We focus on what we need to do.
“Maybe when we’ve got two or three games left you can start looking and analysing the table.”
Can you name each of these 17 ex-Derby County players just by looking at these 3 clues?
It certainly looks like it could be a nervy end to the season for Derby County.
The Rams would certainly have hoped that they would be safe by this stage of the season but instead it looks like they’ll be battling and scrapping until the final weeks of the season.
Wayne Rooney is sounding assured right now it’ll be interesting to hear how his tone changes as the stakes rise in the coming weeks.
