Derby County defender Jayden Bogle has posted an update on social media after being called up to the England Under-20s squad once again.

The 19-year-old has been an important player for Derby so far this season, making nine appearances in the Championship – although he missed a few weeks of the campaign with an ankle injury.

The right-back has impressed since he return to the side and has now been named in the England Under-20s squad for the upcoming games against Portugal and Iceland later this month.

The teenager has made one appearance for the England Under-20s so far and has taken to Twitter to express his joy at receiving another call-up to the national squad.

Bogle has risen through the ranks at Derby and made his first-team debut for the Rams under Frank Lampard last season.

The Verdict

Bogle is very promising player and was able to establish himself as one of the brightest young talents in the Championship under Lampard last season.

He’s become such an important player for Derby and he provides the team with great balance when he gets up and down that right hand side.

He’s going to have another extremely important role to play for the Rams this season and he could have a very bright future ahead of him in football. I’m sure he’ll be very excited about going away with the England youngsters next week.
